Dear friends
I'm not sure if Im able to see you guys again. I have been locked up in this dirty, dark and wet cell for almost 20 days in Hong Kong. They caught me because I flew here with any permissions. Thank god there is a very beautiful Asian woman with me in this cell. She cooked for me for the rest of days and I have fallen in love with Asian food. I have no idea where she got everything maybe somebody is watch me right now and don't want me to die. Unfortunately she doesn't speak any English we can't talk to each other. There is one potato disc with shrimp favor in there which is the one I love the most. Hopefully I can get out of this place soon and head back to the state and I'm going to find out how to cook something like that. Well, It's getting late and I'm very depressed.
Hope everything will be better.
Your friend

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content
For the final project, I have planned to do a video about how Phileas Fogg got caught in Hong Kong. What was going on with him in jail? What was the Asian woman looks like? What kind of food did she cooked for him? Why Phileas Fogg like the potato disc the best? When he got back to the state where did he go to find out whats in the disc. It's a very long process and I'm running out of people. I need at least a profession group that has camera guy, four actors, video editing guy etc. It's kind impossible for me to recruit all of those people to work for me for free. Anyway, I have planned this as a very beautiful short movie and people should feel how romantic and how hard Phileas Fogg's situation was. Also, our customers will enjoy this movie with our fantastic taste spicy salty shrimp favor chip.

statement acts as an “invisible hand” that guides people in the organization."( Kotler, Gary Armstrong and Philip. Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. pg39)

Final Project: Implementation Evalution Control
Planning good strategies is only a start toward successful marketing. A brilliant marketing strategy counts for little if the company fails to implement it properly. Marketing implementation is the process that turns marketing plans into marketing actions in order to accomplish strategic marketing objectives. Whereas marketing planning addresses the what and why of marketing activities, implementation addresses the who, where, when, and how. (Kotler 57)
Kotler, Gary Armstrong and Philip. Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition.
Because many surprises occur during the implementation of marketing plans, marketers must practice constant marketing control—evaluating the results of marketing strategies and plans and taking corrective action to ensure that objectives are attained. Marketing control involves four steps. Management first sets specific marketing goals. It then measures its performance in the marketplace and evaluates the causes of any differences between expected and actual performance. Finally, management takes corrective action to close the gaps between its goals and its performance. This may require changing the action programs or even changing the goals. (Kotler 58)

Marketing implementation is the process that turns marketing plans into mareting actions. How to make sure everything works out well become one of the most important thing in our calendar. We have to make sure our promotion part, product quality, customer service are going well after we launched our new product. How to guide our new product to survive in this battle.

Final Project: Price
The price part is a very interesting part. We figured we can't set our price either too high or too low. To some consumers, “value” might mean sensible products at affordable prices, especially in the aftermath of the recent downward economic spiral. To other consumers, however, value might mean paying more to get more. (Kotler 14)
Kotler, Gary Armstrong and Philip. Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. There are many snacks food in the market right now, how to make our products stand out from those traditional snack food in price part? To set the price at a low price would be a great idea for our new product. But like I said above, we can't do it too low just 50 cents below the regular price of traditional snack food sounds legit. We would like to hear from our customers said Phileas Fogg's snack food is in great taste and in low price. Although price is not a very important part of our marketing plan but we still have to pay a lot of attention on this. Price is the amount of money customers must pay to obtain the product. Ford calculates suggested retail prices that its dealers might charge for each Escape. But Ford dealers rarely charge the full sticker price. Instead, they negotiate the price with each customer, offering discounts, trade-in allowances, and credit terms. These actions adjust prices for the current competitive and economic situations and bring them into line with the buyer’s perception of the car’s value. (Kotler 53)

Final Project: Promotion
For promotion part, We have planned to get our words out on social media website such as Facebook, twitter and youtube. For this part, Facebook is kind one of the most important part we have to take care of. Set up a business Facebook page and invite a lot of people to Like our page. Or maybe you can even pay for people to Like our page. It's also very important to get our product known by people who have influence. For example, if Lady Gaga loves our product and Facebooked it about how good our product is. We are done here. Also, Youtube is another great way to show people what's going on here. We have to pay for youtube to play our ads every time when people are trying to watch video online. Contrasts the selling concept and the marketing concept. The selling concept takes an inside-out perspective. It starts with the factory, focuses on the company’s existing products, and calls for heavy selling and promotion to obtain profitable sales. It focuses primarily on customer conquest—getting short-term sales with little concern about who buys or why. (Kotler 11)
Kotler, Gary Armstrong and Philip. Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. At last, ways of traditional promotion have to be considered as well. Such as play ads on Sunday football since males are our main target. MTV and ESPN are also considered the most important channels.
